Hello, Garden Village Lagundo. Hello, adventure.
If you decide to spend your holiday with us at Pension Siller, countless doors will be open to you.
Nature and culture. Towns and countryside. Mountains and valleys.
But above all, relaxation and experiences are very close together.
Yes, it’s true, we are proud of it. Of our beautiful, small, thriving garden village of Lagundo. It is so centrally located, 3 km away from Merano and yet surrounded by greenery. It has so much to offer and yet is completely private and everyone knows each other. And it has worked. So many great events, so many beautiful paths. Whether on foot, by bike or even by motorbike – Lagundo offers the best options for each of our guests. It’s best to have a look for yourself to find out what there is here.
The picturesque spa town of Merano offers very special cultural experiences with its historical flair and picturesque streets. The Art Nouveau houses, monuments, sights and museums tell the history of Merano. The Laubengasse with its sophisticated shops and hip shops, with trendy bars run by friendly people, is the centre and invites you to stroll and wander. And if you prefer to walk around and enjoy the Mediterranean flair of the town, you should, as Empress Sissi used to do back then, walk along the Merano promenade.
Of course, we will give you one or two insider tips when you are here.
Monte Muta, Cima di Tel, Picco Ivigna … are just three of the many peaks that you can view from Pension Siller. Climbing, mountaineering, experiencing phenomenal natural spectacles, all of this is possible from here. The tour to the Sopranes Lakes is a great idea for active holidaymakers. Lagundo is also considered the largest bouldering area in South Tyrol. Standing at the top and looking down into the valley. Indescribable.
For connoisseurs of course there are all sorts of things there too. The cosy stroll via the Roggia di Lagundo to Merano or the Roggia di Marlengo, always accompanied by the bubbling water.
Fantastic panoramic hiking trails at different altitudes await you. An example of this is the high alpine Alta via di Merano.
Completely carefree, completely environmentally friendly and totally free for you. The AlgundCard allows you to do without your car and reach the most beautiful places by bus and train, as well as various lifts.
If you love cycling through the South Tyrolean landscape with the wind in your hair, you couldn’t choose a better starting point than Pension Siller. The entrance to the Adige cycle path Via Claudia Augusta is just 350 m from our premises. This extends from the Passo di Resia to Lagundo, further to Merano, through the Adige Valley to Bolzano and into the lowlands.
With the city bike to Merano for dinner or with the mountain bike to the next alpine pasture. Up hill or down hill.
Of course you can put your treasure on two wheels in our lockable bike room. Or at the shop Bike&Hike you can pop by at any time and rent a bike.
